August 31 : Concept Briefs for WoundSeal Project Brief

First Idea:
Boy runs up to dad shouting that he got shot in the head. The dad, not even worrying, pulls out his WoundSeal Pouch and pours the powder on the boy's wound. It heals up. The boy asks, "But dad, what about the bullet?"

The dad laughs heartily and says, "Don't worry son, it's all in your head." And he winks at the camera.

Second Idea:
"Fix it!" Yells a soccer player. He's bleeding from his leg and is lying on the field. A medic rushes to him and applies WoundSeal. It heals up. The soccer player is still angry. He says, "Not me! The Ball!" And the medic turns to see a deflated ball lying on the field.

Third Idea:
In a metal workshop, there's a lot of pointy objects. A father is showing his son around. He says, "This is where I work," and loses focus of his son. He hears a scream and turns around to find his boy sitting on the ground. He's hurt. The father rushes to the boy and finds he's bleeding a little. "I scratched too hard at a mosquito bite." The father smiles and applies WoundSeal. It heals up.

Idea Generation:
The way I developed these ideas is by thinking of ways people can bleed but not in such a graphic manner so that it puts off the viewer. Then I began to think of the target audience who might want to buy WoundSeal. I thought of children and sports players. From there, I just dug into my imagination to see what I could pull out. Something humorous that could be conveyed in twenty seconds.
