The first video is good because it starts out with just one guy dancing, as all the classic harlem shakes do. In the second video though, you can clearly see that there are two people dancing at the beginning. It doesn't give that sense of isolation that you feel with the first video. The good video also wins in the transition. The best harlem shakes transition the two clips with a simple cut without having the camera move at all between the two shots. In the bad video, the transition is a crossfade and that ruins the surprise that the best harlem shakes are known for. If they had cut in the bad video though, it would've only looked awkward and clunky because the camera would've slightly shifted between the two cuts. In my opinion, they should not have been hand holding the camera. As for the second part of both videos, they did pretty well. The bad video could've featured some more wacky acts, but I'll let it slide.
